    Maltodextrin

Maltodextrin is an odourless polysaccharide (sugar) with E-Number 965. Maltodextrin is slightly sweet but rapidly absorbed. It is produced by the breakdown of starch from various plants. It is used both as a bulking agent and as an anti-caking agent.

Pharma Nord uses maltodextrin from enzymatically treated corn starch (GMO-free), which is why it does not contain gluten.

In Bio-Chromium maltodextrin is used because it has the same flow properties as chromium yeast. If the strength of the chromium raw material is high, so that the chromium part takes up more space, maltodextrin is used to compensate.

Maltodextrin in Bio-Curcumin comes from either cassava or potato.
