    Microcrystalline Cellulose

Microcrystalline cellulose with E-Number E-460 is a powder made from either acid-treated wood pulp or cotton pulp. It is used to bind ingredients in tablets together or as fillers in capsules.

Physiologically, microcrystalline cellulose functions in the same way as insoluble fibre in the intestine and there is no legal restriction on how much of the substance can be consumed.

The source of Pharma Nord's microcrystalline cellulose is wood pulp.
